Over 40 members of the Mayor’s Youth Council and some students from the Beta Club help clean Kosciusko in last weekend’s Community Cleanup Day.
“I’m proud of these young people that want to make a difference in their city,” said Kosciusko Mayor Tim Kyle. “They removed litter from roadways all over town and we had a dumpster at the Coliseum for the public to dump their rubbish which was provided by Waste Management. I would like to thank Stephen Franks, owner of Franks Chevrolet for providing lunch for all the kids that worked.”
The next Community Cleanup Day will be the Saturday (April 19) before the Natchez Trace Festival.
