Presbyterian Day School students advance to MAIS State Reading Fair

Students from Presbyterian Day School recently participated in the MAIS District Reading Fair held in Greenwood at Pillow Academy.

The following students placed:

  • 3rd Grade:  Journey Cummins, 2nd place Fiction; Anna Leigh Bingham, 2nd place Portrayal of Character; Ann Harper Richardson, 3rd place Portrayal of Character.
  • 4th Grade:  Emerson Moore, 1st place Nonfiction & 1st place Portrayal of Character; Ella Burden, 3rd place portrayal of Character
  • 5th Grade – Rhett Eaton, 1st place Nonfiction; Harper Griffin, 2nd place Portrayal of Character
  • 6th Grade – Barbara Withers, 1st place Fiction; Emma Landrum, 2nd place Fiction; Laney Rea, 1st place Nonfiction & 1st Place Portrayal of Character

Journey Cummins, Emerson Moore, Rhett Eaton, Barbara Withers, Emma Landrum & Laney Rea will compete in the State Reading Fair in Pearl, MS on April 1, 2025.
