At approximately 8:00 p.m., Attala County Deputies, Attala County Fire Department, and Emergency Medical Services were dispatched to a one-vehicle crash on Highway 43 South near Attala Road 4041. The vehicle was reported to have left the roadway running into a ditch and into the woods. One person was trapped in the vehicle and had to be freed by emergency personnel. That individual was airlifted to the hospital.
2:25 p.m. – Kosciusko Police and Attala County Deputies were alerted to a reckless driver traveling on Highway 35 North from Vaiden toward Kosciusko.
3:25 p.m. – Kosciusko Police responded to a call about a two-vehicle crash in the area of North Natchez Street and North Huntington Street. No injuries were reported.
6:11 p.m. – Kosciusko Police were responded to a call reporting a one-vehicle accident on Highway 12 near China Wok. A vehicle struck a deer. No one was injured in the accident.
