Attala Central Fire Department, Attala Deputies, and EMS were dispatched to a one-vehicle rollover crash at 7:38 a.m. on Sunday, December 18th. The wreck occurred at the intersection Attala Rd. 2247 and Attala Rd. 2210. The vehicle left the roadway, hit a ditch, and jumped a creek. The driver refused medical care, but did sustain a few non-life-threatening injuries.
Kosciusko Police were sent to an area of Fairground St. at 3 a.m. and again at 4:48 a.m. regarding people outside arguing loudly.
At 12:37 p.m., Attala Deputies and Kosciusko Police were alerted to a black mustang traveling at a high rate of speed on Hwy 12 from the city toward Durant. The caller stated that the occupants also fired shots in the air. Local law enforcement investigated, but did not locate the vehicle. Holmes County Sheriff’s Office and MS Hwy Patrol were also notified.
Kosciusko Police were called to a domestic disturbance in progress at Campbell’s Motel on Hwy 12 at 2 p.m.
Attala Deputies responded to a call reporting a possible prowler in the area on Attala Rd. 1105 near Sand Rd. at 10 p.m.
