The Attala County Fire Department (ACFD) and Carmack Volunteer Firefighters responded to an RV fire on Highway 19 North in the West community on Thursday, December 19, just before 3:30 p.m.
The fire was extinguished quickly, saving most of the RV’s contents from destruction.
According to ACFD Chief Tim Cox, the RV sustained only smoke damage, with no significant structural loss reported.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. No injuries were reported in the incident.
