Senior vouchers accepted at Attala County Farmers Market

Senior citizen vouchers will be accepted this weekend at the Attala County Farmers Market.

If you or someone you know received a packet of food vouchers through the USDA’s Food and Nutrition Program, please note that the vouchers will expire this month.

Food vouchers can only be accepted at “Certified’ Farmers Markets.

This weekend the market will have snacks, beverages, and special deals for our customers. Available items will include: collards, mustards, turnips, okra, sweet potatoes, honey, boiled peanuts, pork skins, canned goods, eggs, baked goods, and more.

The market is located at the intersection of Highways 12 & 35 and will be open Friday October 19 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday October 20 from 8 a.m. to Noon.
