Madison County Sheriff Randy Tucker is confirming that Antoinette Jackson, the woman kidnapped at the Nissan plant in Canton Monday, was shot “multiple times” in addition to being hit by a car on I-55 in Holmes County.   Her former boyfriend, Joshua Andrews, is accused of forcing the woman into a car in the plant’s parking lot and driving north.  Jackson jumped or fell from the car after being shot and was hit by another vehicle at the 161-mile marker.   Holmes County Sheriff Willie March says there were several bullet holes in the passenger side door indicating that the shots were fired from inside the car.   Tucker says a gun has been recovered.

Tucker says  the case will be prosecuted in Madison County, where Andrews is being held on charges of capital murder and felon in possession of a firearm.  The sheriff says, “This is a heinous crime that shocks the conscience of society and Andrews will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.”
