Sheriff Tim Nail tells Breezy News of felony arrests his Department has made over the last two days.
According to Nail, on 03/12/2019 Ronnie Madison Jr., a 26 year old B/M from Goodman MS, was taken into custody on two felony charges. The charges stem from an Armed Robbery and Shooting that took place in Sallis on December 21, 2018. Law enforcement agencies, including the U.S. Marshal’s Service and Holmes County Sheriff’s Office had been searching for Madison since December 2018. Madison has been charged with Armed Robbery and Aggravated Assault in Attala County and also faces charges in Holmes County.
The next arrest came the next day on the 13th when the Sheriff said his Department executed a search warrant at the residence of Rickey Sanders II on Attala Road 3041 in the Hesterville area. The search was made in relation to an ongoing investigation involving stolen property. During the search Deputies discovered narcotics, weapons, and a large amount of drug paraphernalia. Rickey Sanders II was charged with Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Stolen Property, and Possession of Paraphernalia. He was transported to the Leake County Jail.
