The Mississippi Dept. Of Human Services has announced that SNAP replacement benefits may be available for those who lost power for 6 hours or longer due to recent storms, if approved.
In order for food purchased with SNAP benefits to be replaced, the disaster must be reported within ten (10) days of the date the loss occurred.
