Term expiring on Kosciusko School Board, aldermen to accept applications for position (audio)


The Kosciusko Board of Aldermen is accepting applications for an expiring term on the Kosciusko School District Board of Trustees.

Tina McNeal’s current appointment to the board will expire Dec. 31, 2018.

Kosciusko Mayor Jimmy Cockroft said the board plans to announce each expiring term at the beginning of October every year in case someone is interested in applying for the position.

The board of aldermen is responsible for appointing three members to the school board for five year terms each. The other two seats on the board are elected.

Applications for the position will be accepted through Thursday, Nov. 1 at 5:00 pm.
