Three French Camp Academy students die in TN house fire

A house fire left four people dead and two people hospitalized Sunday night in Collierville, TN.

Three of the victims were students at French Camp Academy in Mississippi.

Colliverville Bible Church identified the victims as Sharron, Joy and Aaron Naik. They are missionaries from India, all in their teens.

The fourth victim was 46-year-old Kari Coudriet.

The Coudriet family was hosting the Naik family for the holidays.

Firefighters faced heavy smoke as they worked to retrieve the six people inside the home. First responders rushed an adult and a child to the hospital. They will be okay.

French Camp Academy released a statement:

“French Camp Academy is deeply saddened by the tragic event of last night’s fire in Collierville. We are fervently praying for the families involved and resting on the strong arms of our Heavenly Father to provide comfort and peace in a time like this. We understand that investigations are in process by Collierville authorities to explain the causes of the fire. We are asking everyone to join us in praying and supporting these precious families.”

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
