Three in Custody After Shots Fired in McAdams (Video)

Three subjects are in custody after what could be a case of road rage.

At 6:33 pm Attala Deputies were notified by a 911 call that shots had been fired on highway 14 west. The caller said he was being chased by a dark vehicle that was firing a gun at him. Shortly after the first dispatch responding units were informed that the vehicle chasing the victim had crashed behind the football field at McAdams High School on Attala Road 4114.

Deputies arrived on scene and took three subjects in custody. Shell casings were recovered from the weapon and one bullet hole was found in the victims car.

Deputies searched the area and but were unable to locate a gun. Attala 9, Deputy Scott Walters and K9 Victor were called to the scene to search the area.  After a through search the weapon was recovered. Deputies ran the serial number and found that the 40 caliber Kahr was reported stolen out of the Jackson area.

No one was transported by ambulance but some subjects were transported to Baptist-Attala by patrol car to be checked out.

Sheriff Nail told Breezy News that more information will be released following his investigation.
