SHARE NOW

For the second year in a row, the local area has three top-rated school districts.  The Neshoba County schools again led the way in the annual state accountability ratings, tied for 14th for the highest number of points among all public school districts in Mississippi.  It’s the third consecutive year for the Neshoba schools to receive an “A”.   Earning an “A” rating for the second straight year were the Attala County schools at number 40 overall and the Kosciusko school district, ranked 45th.

The Philadelphia, Leake County and Holmes County schools improved from a “C” rating last year to a “B” this year.
