Two local airports to receive over $20,000 in federal funds

Two airports in central Mississippi are set to receive money from the federal government.

The Kosciusko-Attala County Airport and the Carthage-Leake County Airport will both get $22,000 in from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

The money will help operations cleaning, and debt service payments.

Funding for the grants comes from the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.
