Update: Attala County and City of Kosciusko offices to be closed July 5

Update: The Attala County Board of Supervisors voted Monday to for all Attala County offices to be closed Friday, July 5.


June 13: City of Kosciusko offices will be closed Friday, July 5.

That decision comes after Gov. Tate Reeves issued a proclamation stating all state agencies and government offices could close that day in a continued observance of the July 4 Independence Day holiday.

Kosciusko aldermen approved the holiday during a special called meeting Monday, June 10.

The Attala County Board of Supervisors is expected to discuss the holiday closure at its next meeting Monday, June 17.
