Central Electric Restoration Efforts Continue
We are proud of the tireless efforts of our crews as they continue to work until every member once
again has power. Over 110 broken poles and numerous transformers are being repaired due to
extensive damage to our power system from two winter storms.
We have repaired all main lines and today we are continuing to repair services, transformers, and
individual taps to homes.
As of Thursday at 10:30 a.m., there are 215 members without electric service. The following is a
breakdown of the outages by county:
* Kemper County – 14
* Leake County – 1
* Attala County – 14
* Neshoba County – 170
* Newton County – 16
