Update: BOLO Cancelled By Attala County Sheriff’s Department (Audio)


Update: B.O.L.O. Cancelled

At 2:42 pm Attala Dispatch received a call from the female subject that was reported as kidnapped. She advised that she was fine and gave her phone number for deputies to call.

At 3:08 pm Attala 3, Investigator Mark Hill, made contact by phone with both the male and female. They told the deputy that everything was fine and would meet them at the Sheriff’s Office The B.O.L.O. was cancelled after they two arrived that the Sheriff’s Office.

At approximately 4:15 pm Sheriff Tim Nail tells Breezy News that the female was at the Sheriff’s Office safe and sound. No other information is available

At 1:50 pm The Attala Sheriff’s Department issued a B.O.L.O. (Be One the Look Out) for a 2018 Ford Explorer or Expedition gray or silver in color. The vehicle is said to not have a license plate on the back and a Cannon Auto Sales tag on the front. The driver is said to be a white male. There is a white female in the vehicle that was reported to have been kidnapped from a residence in Ethel. Officers were notified to used caution that the driver was reported to have a 9 MM handgun. If you spot the vehicle you are urged to contact the Attala County Sheriff’s Department at (662) 289-5556 or your local 911 dispatch.
