Video/photos: Veterans honored at annual Aisle of Honor ceremony

The United Veterans of Attala County held the annual “Aisle of Honor” Veterans Day program Monday at Parkway Cemetery.

The program started with the Veterans March, led by drummers from the Kosciusko High School Big Red Band, and the presentation of colors by B-Battery, 2-114th Field Artillery Unit of the Mississippi Army National Guard.

Zenovia Wollie, Kosciusko High School senior, led the singing of the National Anthem.

Master Sergeant (Retired) Luis Vargas was the featured guest speaker.

Following the ceremony, the American Legion Riders held a flag retirement ceremony.

    What a beautiful ceremony and thank you for posting video!. Thankful to all our veterans and all they have faced when serving our country. Thanks to all of you. I hate I missed this- Dr. apmt in jax -but thanks to all involved! God bless America!!
