SHARE NOW

Coming off an overtime win last week, the Kosciusko Whippets traveled to Winona to face the defending champion Tigers.

After a well-played first half, the Tigers led the Whippets 17-6.  In the second half, the Whippets scored two touchdowns, but the Tigers came back with a last time at the finish.  The final score was 24-20, Winona.  The Kosciusko Whippets fall to 1-2 on the season.

Rokari Covington was named the Autumn Ridge Player of the Game.  Now, that’s something to smile about!

The Whippets have a bye next week.  So come back in TWO weeks when the home team travels to Newton County to challenge the Cougars.  All Kosciusko Whippets football broadcasts are available on Breezy 101, breezynews.com, the Breezy News app, and the Boswell Media Sports YouTube channel.
