In the opening game of their 2024 football season, the Kosciusko Whippets hosted the Kemper County Wildcats.
The Wildcats scored first and led, 6-0, at the end of the first quarter. Scoring two more touchdowns, Kemper County led at halftime with a score of 20-0. In the third quarter, the Whippets got on the board, but the Wildcats added two more touchdowns for a score of 32-7. Each team added a touchdown in the fourth quarter for a final score of 38-15.
Lamarcus Riley was named the Autumn Ridge Player of the Game. Now, that’s something to smile about.
