The Kosciusko Whippets, Ethel Tigers, and McAdams Bulldogs athletic teams will all compete in new districts for the next two years due to the most recent MHSAA reclassification.
While the teams will remain in their same classifications (Kosciusko – 4A; Ethel & McAdams – 1A), the teams will move into different regions.
The Whippets will make the move from Region 3-4A to Region 4-4A. Teams in that district include familiar opponents Louisville and Greenwood, but will add in former 5A teams Gentry (Indianola) and Yazoo City.
The Tigers and Bulldogs will both make the move from Region 6-1A to Region 5-1A. This district will also include Leake County, Nanih Waiya, Noxapater, Sebastopol.
These districts will be the same for football, baseball, basketball, softball, and volleyball.
