Charles “Tommy” Pender

Candidate for

Chancery Clerk

I, Charles “Tommy” Pender, am announcing my candidacy for Chancery Clerk of Attala County.  I come to the citizens of Attala County and humbly ask for your vote and support.

I am 43 years old and I am a lifelong resident of Attala County, residing in McCool.  I have been married to Evelyn Kelley Pender for 22 years, and she serves as Sales Manager at Cspire in Kosciusko.  We have six children, Madison, Carlye, Ava, Kyston, Tripp, and Ella Pender, all of whom have graduated or currently attend school in the Attala County School District.  I have one granddaughter, Blakelyn.  I am the son of Charles and the late Mary Ellen Pender of Ethel and Diane Yates.  I am also the grandson of the late Robert “Bobby” Chamblee and the late Robert Earl and Faye Holt and the late Dr. Aaron and Betty Pender, who practiced dentistry in Kosciusko until he passed away.

I attended Ethel High School, graduated from Holmes Community College receiving my Associate of Arts Degree and furthering my education at Mississippi State University where I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree as well as my Certification in Criminal Justice and Corrections.  I am currently employed as a Captain with the Kosciusko Police Department.  I am also a graduate of the FBI Command College.  During my years in Law Enforcement, I have received numerous management and leadership certifications that have prepared me to serve the position of Chancery Clerk well.

I have worked in public service for over 16 years, serving each of you as citizens of Attala County and the State of Mississippi. As your Chancery Clerk, I will serve the position with integrity, leadership and values.  I ask for your support, influence and vote on August 6th, 2019 for your next Chancery Clerk.

Paid for and approved by Charles “Tommy” Pender, candidate for Attala County Chancery Clerk.
