Responsibilities for Data Entry Specialist:

  • Maintain database by entering new and updated customer and account information.
  • Prepare source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information.
  • Establish entry priorities.
  • Verify entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data.
  • Receive and process invoices for payment and update invoice details accordingly.
  • Accurately enter data into corresponding fields within various software programs.
  • Identify and correct data entry errors using appropriate quality control methods.
  • Manage and organize records and files electronically.
  • Prepare relevant reports as needed

Data Entry Specialist Qualifications/Skills:

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma (some college or degree preferred).
  • Data entry experience or related office experience.
