Deputy Administers Narcan to Try and Save Woman
McADAMS, Miss.--A woman who had apparently overdosed was administered Narcan Sunday night by an Attala County deputy as he waited for an ambulance.
Narcan is the brand name for naloxone, a drug that can reverse the effects of an overdose from opioids.
