Just before 6 p.m. Thursday, the Attala County Fire Department and Sallis Volunteer Firefighters responded to a log truck fire at a residence on Attala Road 4022, off Highway 14 West.
The trailer was reportedly loaded with logs and fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.
The truck was deemed a total loss. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
