Local residents facing persistent power grid disruptions will soon have a chance to speak with top state and utility leaders.
A public town hall meeting has been called for Monday, Sept 21, at 6:00 p.m. to tackle ongoing electrical issues and frequent power outages affecting Carmack and surrounding Attala County communities.
The meeting will be held at the Carmack Community Center located at 24452 Highway 35 North.
A panel of decision-makers will be on hand to answer questions and detail corrective action plans. Key leaders scheduled to attend include Mississippi Speaker of the House Jason White, Public Service Commission Northern District Commissioner Chris Brown, and Entergy CEO Haley Fisackerly.
Organizers strongly encourage all affected community members to attend, voice their concerns, and hear directly from officials about long-term solutions for the region’s power supply.
