SALLIS, Miss.–A person was reported trying to pass counterfiet money Saturday.
The call was shortly after 7 p.m. Attala County deputies got a call to go to Main St. in Sallis. It was not at a business, but rather for a person trying to pass counterfeit bills to another individual.
The man who the caller said had tried to pass the bills left before deputies got there.
It was unclear from police radio traffic if an arrest was made.
