A woods fire was reported on Burdine Rd. around 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 21.
Kosciusko Fire Chief Duane Burdine said the blaze spread behind a building and ignited a nearby shop that contained several small propane tanks and welding bottles.
Residents in the area reported hearing an explosion during the fire.
Kosciusko firefighters worked to extinguish the flames.
The cause of the woods fire remains under investigation.
