A three-vehicle crash on Veterans Memorial Drive around 7:45 a.m. Wednesday sent one person to the hospital.
An Attala County Sheriff’s Deputy came upon the wreck and notified Kosciusko communications. Early reports indicated that one person may have been ejected from a vehicle, though it’s possible they exited on their own and laid down nearby to await medical care.
Two vehicles were towed from the scene. One individual was transported by ambulance to a local hospital, while another was evaluated by EMS at the scene but was not transported.
Details on how the crash occurred and the condition of the injured person have not been released.
