Jarius Campbell was taken into custody in Durant this morning, Sunday, Dec. 28, 2025.
Campbell, 29, is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in connection with the shooting that occurred on Attala Road 1137/Horne Road earlier this month.
Campbell is being held at the Leake County Correctional Facility with a $250,000 bond.
Authorities say Campbell will face more charges from the Durant Police Department.
