Kosciusko Junior High FBLA students seek Community Support for National Conference Trip

Students from Kosciusko Junior High School (KJHS) are asking for community support as they prepare to attend the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) National Leadership Conference this summer in San Antonio, Texas.

The conference will take place in July and brings together thousands of students from across the country to compete, learn, and develop leadership and workforce skills. KJHS FBLA students earned their spot at nationals through strong performances at state-level competitions and will represent both their school and the Kosciusko community on a national stage.

The estimated cost is approximately $680 per student, which covers travel and conference expenses. To help offset those costs, the group is seeking sponsorships from local businesses, organizations, and individuals.

Community members can contribute at several sponsorship levels:

  • Bronze Sponsor – $170 (Quarter Student)

  • Any amount is welcome

In addition to financial contributions, businesses can support students by offering job shadowing or career exploration opportunities, helping students gain real-world experience and exposure to future career paths.

Sponsors will receive recognition through business name or logo placement on FBLA signage, social media recognition, certificates of appreciation, and opportunities to mentor or host students.

Those interested in sponsoring can contact a KJHS FBLA student or adviser. Checks should be made payable to KJHS FBLA.

Organizers say community support plays a critical role in helping students access leadership opportunities that can shape their future careers.
