KOSCIUSKO, Miss.–A one-car wreck was reported early Saturday morning in front of Kosciusko High School.
A call came in just after 1 a.m. reporting that a pole had been knocked down. At the same time an alert from an iPhone automatic crash detector alerted 911 dispatchers that someone had possibly been in a wreck.
Kosciusko Police were able to confirm that a short time later, finding two poles had been knocked down.
It was unclear if anyone was seriously hurt.
Police helped get traffic around the scene and Kosciusko Power and Light was called to tend to the poles and the appropriate repair work.
Someone may have been taken to jail on possible DUI charges.
