The Kosciusko Whippets baseball traveled to Mooreville Monday evening for the deciding game to get to the state championship.  With one win apiece, it was a showdown for both teams trying to advance to the final matchup.

The Whippets started out with a two-run homer, but the Troopers also got two runs, first inning 2-2.  Mooreville added a run in the third inning, 3-2.  Fourth inning, also 3-2.  Fifth inning, 3-2.  Sixth inning, 3-2.  And the Mooreville Troopers held on for the win, 3-2.

Braxton Smith, Kenyan Weatherby, Keegan Allbritton, JT Herron, Carson Philyaw, Aidan Howard, and  Kristian Thrash were named Autumn Ridge Players of the Game.  Now, that’s something to smile about!
