A downed tree on W Adams St. in Kosciusko took out a whole circuit, leading to the loss of power in the western part of town.
Traffic lights were also inoperable during the outage, so members of the police department directed traffic. No motor incidents related to the outage were recorded during this time.
The linemen from Kosciusko Water and Lights were quick to respond, and the power was restored within about an hour.
