The third and final ATV stolen recently in Attala County has been recovered according to Sheriff Curtis Pope.
Sheriff Pope says Beat 5 Supervisor Brad Whittington reported that his county road crew was cutting grass along Attala Rd. 5216 when they spotted the ATV in a wooded area off the roadway.
The Attala County Sheriff’s Office was notified and the vehicle was recovered.
This ATV is the last of three stolen off-road vehicles taken during a recent theft. The other two vehicles, a side-by-side and an ATV, were also recently located.
The Attala County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the thefts.
