ATV Thief Meets Deputy on a Dirt Road, Lands in Jail

A Leake County man was arrested for the theft of a Kubota side-by-side that was stolen from a deer camp on Attala Road 5001 Tuesday afternoon.

The Attala County Sheriff’s Office was notified and began investigating the theft. At around 6 p.m., Deputy Tommy Pender, who was traveling on Attala Road 2247 on his way home after working his shift with the ACSO, met a side-by-side matching the description of the stolen ATV.

The driver was identified as Bradley Kase Quick of Leake County. Quick was arrested at the scene and taken to the Leake County Correctional Facility.
