Around 12:35 Tuesday afternoon, first responders were notified of a downed tree blocking Hwy 14 E a couple miles east of Attala Rd. 5216.
Upon arriving, they discovered that there was a bumper next to the downed tree, but no vehicle nearby that it may have come from.
It is unclear if the tree took off a passing driver’s bumper, or if it was there by happenstance.
