Kimberly Clark Bell, 40, was arrested Tuesday, September 8, and charged with first-degree arson following a house fire in Attala.
The Attala County Fire Department was dispatched to the residence where Bell was living at approximately 9:45 p.m. Monday after a fire was reported. Firefighters arrived to find a bedroom on fire and quickly extinguished the blaze.
ACFD Chief Tim Cox said an investigation determined the fire was intentionally set, leading to Bell’s arrest. Bell was charged with first-degree arson and is currently being held at the Leake County Correctional Facility.
