KOSCIUSKO, Miss.–A chase from Choctaw County ended just after midnight Saturday on Hwy. 12 in Attala County. Deputies from Attala County helped those deputies from Choctaw once the stop was made.
At first Choctaw deputies could not get the person they were chasing to stop.
Shortly after entering the county the person stopped. But, Attala deputies still went to assist in the stop.
Choctaw deputies requested a K-9 unit. It was unclear from police radio communication whether Attala deputies were able to accommodate that request.
It wasn’t clear from police radio traffic why the person was being chased.
After an hour on scene, Attala County deputies were done assisting and went back in service.
