McCOOL, Miss.–A fire was reported in the top of a tree near McCool Saturday evening.
The call went out at 5:30 p.m. for a fire on Attala Rd. 2120.
Once firefighters got there they reported that the fire was in the woods and normal fire trucks might not be able to get through to it. They asked for a brush truck.
The fire was reported out just before 7 p.m.
Grass Fire
A grass fire was reported at 7 p.m. at the intersection of Attala roads 1010 and 1001.
Firefighters reported back that it was a small fire and they expected to have it taken care of shortly.
