SALLIS, Miss.–A man fell off his four-wheeler Saturday afternoon in the Sallis area.
The man was able to get a message to the 911 dispatch center and an ambulance along with Attala County and Sallis volunteer firefighters were also sent.
The man said he had fallen off in the woods behind his house.
Before the ambulance and firefighters got there someone was able to get the man back to his house, eliminating the need for a search through the woods for him.
The man was still not well and showed signs of a possible concussion.

November 24, 2025 at 10:25 AMDoes anyone have a pit bull dog, that has had puppies?? She was put out at my house last night. I don’t know where her babies are. Her t*** are swelled up real big. I don’t know if that is dangerous for her. She is solid gray with white on her chest. She is very friendly. We are elderly and we can’t afford to keep her. I called the sheriff’s office but they can’t help. We live on hwy 19 south like going to Philadelphia. We live right across the road in front of AT&T phone tower. If anyone knows who owns this precious dog please let us know. Who ever done her this way is very heartless.
