Correction: According to Kosciusko Police, no weapon was brandished by the thief despite initial reports.
KOSCIUSKO, Miss.–McDonald’s was robbed Saturday evening in Kosciusko. The female robber took the cash drawer, according to the person who called 911 just before 7 p.m.
It was unclear how much money was in the drawer.
Kosciusko Police caught the woman quickly as they ran behind Spot Cash onto Yorkshire Dr.
The caller from McDonald’s said the woman had a weapon, but it was not specified what kind. Police later said no weapon was used.
No one was reported hurt in the hold-up.
