SALLIS, Miss.–People on Hwy. 12 near Sallis, had to stop Thursday afternoon about 6 for a tree that was down and partially blocking the highway.
Attala County deputies responded for traffic control and said no power lines had been hit.
The Mississippi Dept. of Transportation was called to cut the tree up and move it.
