KOSCIUSKO, Miss.–A woods fire was reported Saturday afternoon just after 5 p.m. on Attala Rd. 5016, southeast of Kosciusko, just off Hwy. 19.
At first it appeared that no structures were in danger. But, once firefighters began to knock down the flames they noticed a trailer on the property they believed was in danger.
Firefighters also asked for the Mississippi Forestry Commission to be sent to help fight the fire.
Fire trucks began leaving the scene and finishing up around 7:15 p.m.
