Attala County Fire Department and Carmack Volunteers responded to a mobile home fire on Hwy 440 near Attala Rd 3110 on Monday, May 27 just after 6 p.m.
The abandoned structure was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived.
No one was inside at the time and no injuries were reported.
ACFD Chief Tim Cox says neighbors heard a loud pop before noticing the structure and yard were ablaze. The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
