The Mississippi Health Department says additional cases of two variant strains of COVID-19 have been found in the state.
Health officials say Thursday that 10 new cases of the South African origin variant were identified, bringing the total to 12.
The new cases are from outbreaks in two long-term care facilities. (AP)
