The Attala County Library will host a retirement celebration for Genealogy Librarian Ann Breedlove Friday, Aug. 21, at 2:00 p.m., honoring her years of dedicated service to preserving local history and family heritage.
The event, held at the library, is open to the public. Friends, patrons, colleagues, and community members are invited to attend, share memories, and recognize Breedlove’s lasting contributions to Attala County.
Throughout her tenure, Breedlove has served as a central resource for local historians, families, and researchers tracing their roots. Her work has expanded the library’s genealogy collection while guiding both novice and experienced genealogists through historical records.
Library staff and community patrons credited her patience, professionalism, and extensive knowledge of local history with making the genealogy department a vital community resource.
