Attala County School District (ACSD) announced today that all students enrolled in the district will receive healthy school meals at no cost during the 2026–2027 school year.
Through the USDA’s Provision 2 program, ACSD will provide free breakfast and lunch across participating schools, including Ethel High School, Greenlee Elementary School, Long Creek Elementary School, and McAdams High School.
Under Provision 2, families do not need to complete or submit free and reduced-price meal applications for their children to participate.

What’s Included: Every student receives one complete breakfast and one complete lunch each school day. Meals include fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and low-fat or fat-free milk meeting USDA nutrition standards.

Additional Purchases: While primary meals are free, students who wish to purchase second meals, extra milk, or à la carte items will be charged separately.
