The Attala Senior and Junior FFA chapters earned top finishes during competition Friday, Jan. 30, in Starkville, with multiple first-place awards that secured advancement to district competition in March.
Students competed in a range of leadership and skills-based events, including speaking contests and tool identification.
Senior Chapter Results
- David Harmon — 1st place, Extemporaneous Speaking
- Noble Edwards — 1st place, Senior Creed Speaking
- Z’a’Rhiya Dixon — 1st place, National (9th Grade) Creed Speaking
- Sarah Cessna, Kimyrah Oats, Eli Cade, and Aryia Harmon — 1st place, Senior Tool Identification
Junior Chapter Results
- Ava Smith — 1st place, Junior Creed Speaking
- Taylin Ellis, Eli Perteet, Kirkland Bounds, and Ava Smith — 2nd place, Junior Tool Identification
Both chapters will represent Attala at the district-level competition scheduled for March.
