After nearly three decades of serving central Mississippi, Breezy 101.1 (WLIN-FM) will officially transition to Breezy 103.7 FM at noon on Friday, July 11, 2025.
The change, announced by Boswell Media on June 4, will bring a stronger signal and wider reach to listeners in Kosciusko, Attala County, and surrounding areas, ensuring clearer reception for the station’s mix of mainstream adult contemporary music, local news, and weather updates.
The upgrade to 103.7 FM will enhance the station’s broadcast quality, allowing more listeners to enjoy hits from artists like Rod Stewart, Celine Dion, Taylor Swift, and Bruno Mars, alongside real-time weather updates through Breezy’s partnership with North Mississippi Storm Chasers.
“It’s an exciting time for us,” said Johnny Boswell, Owner and CEO of Boswell Media. “Moving to 103.7 FM means we can connect with more people across central Mississippi while continuing to deliver the music and local content our community relies on.”
To mark the end of an era, Breezy 101.1 will go out with a celebration.
From 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM CDT on July 11, Breck Riley will host A Breezy 101 Retirement Party, a special broadcast reflecting on the station’s 28-year history.
Former DJs and local personalities will join Riley to share stories and memories, honoring the station’s legacy in Kosciusko before it officially becomes Breezy 103.7 at noon.
Listeners can tune in to Breezy 103.7 FM starting Friday afternoon or access programming online at BreezyNews.com, through the Breezy mobile app, or on platforms like TuneIn.
